Neil Burgess Neil is an Assistant Scuba Instructor and works as a wildlife biologist.
Vice-President, Archaeologist, Senior NAS Tutor Ken Keeping Ken has a Masters degree in Maritime Archaeology. He's also a commercial diver and marine survey consultant.
Secretary Daniel Rees Daniel is studying medicine at Memorial University, after completing his Archaeology degree there. He is an active scuba diver interested in shipwreck archaeology.
Director Rebecca Smith Becky is working on her Masters in History at Memorial University. She has a keen interested in maritime history.
Director Tony Merkle Tony is an Open Water Scuba Instructor and works installing and maintaining marine electronics.

Bell Island Shipwreck Exhibit

SPSNL is partnering with the Bell Island Heritage Society to create a new online museum exhibit on the Bell Island Shipwrecks. SPSNL members will carry out the historical research, and will gather old photos, eyewitness accounts and video of the sinkings and the shipwrecks today. The new website will be launched as a Community Story on the Virtual Museum of Canada in 2019.
